Annual fundraiser returns this Sunday at the Elks Club
Santa Monica Breakfast Club’s 7th Annual Mad Hatter Tea Party fundraiser returns this Sunday, April 16 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Santa Monica Elks Lodge at 1040 Pico Boulevard.
This is one of Santa Monica’s most colorful events of the year and the money raised benefits local families who are unable to pay for much-needed dental care for their children. This year’s event honors Paul Leoni and the memory of his wife, Marilyn, much-loved longtime proprietors of Santa Monica’s Patton’s Pharmacy.
Guests will enjoy elegant tea service with hand-made pastries, buffet brunch and sparkling wine. The mood is elegant and eccentric, as old friends and new acquaintances enjoy conversation, Live and Silent Auctions and a Raffle of fabulous hand-made Gift Baskets.
The Santa Monica Breakfast Club was founded in 1935 and its members have been helping children in need with dental care for over 75 years.
