A suspect who pointed a firearm at employees and robbed First Citizens Bank on Montana Avenue on Sept. 22, has been taken into custody by Santa Monica Police Department.

Yolanda Denise Caldwell, 52, was booked into the Santa Monica Jail for 211 PC, Robbery after detectives apprehended her on Oct. 25 in Redondo Beach. A warrant for Caldwell’s arrest was obtained after information from multiple sources assisted SMPD detectives to identify the suspect.
