 Santa Monican Jane E. Dabel has been awarded the 2007 Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award at California State University, Long Beach.

 The American Cancer Society has named Santa Monican Joan Goldfeder to the Los Angeles Regional Council of the American Cancer Society.  She will serve a two-year term on the volunteer commission.

 Earlier last month, the St. Joseph Center’s 22nd annual Dinner Dance raised over $500,000 for homeless and low-income families in the Santa Monica and Venice areas.
