St. Monica’s football team was shut out by La Salle, 40-0 on Saturday, November 3, leaving the Mariners only one chance to avoid a winless season.
St. Monica, which has an 0-9 record, will play at Mary Star of San Pedro Friday, November 9 at 7 p.m.
The game was scoreless after one quarter but La Salle scored 26 points in the second.
