Los Angeles Police Department detectives and Homeland Security Investigations agents are seeking the public’s help to identify potential additional victims in a child exploitation case involving artificial intelligence-generated material.
Julian Kurt Perez, 25, of Los Angeles, was arrested Dec. 22 and booked on one count of possessing child or youth pornography. Perez, who worked in after-school programs at schools throughout the San Fernando Valley, is accused of creating AI-generated child sexual abuse material involving at least two identified minor victims.
Authorities released Perez’s booking photo, describing him as a 5-foot-7 Hispanic male weighing 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Investigators believe he targeted minor females and may have additional unreported victims.
