Santa Monica–Malibu School Board to hold special midyear update meeting

Board will receive a progress report on 2025–26 district priorities. 

The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board of Education will hold a special open session board meeting on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the District office (1717 4th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401).

A Zoom component will not be available for this special meeting. 

The purpose of this special meeting is to allow the board to receive a mid-year update from the Superintendent regarding the district’s progress on meeting its 2025-2026 priorities. Please note that there is a regular board meeting later that day in the same location.
