The event, called Night Out for No Kid Hungry, merges Taste of the Nation and the No Kid Hungry Dinner into a single evening featuring more than 50 chefs, restaurateurs and mixologists from across the country.
A new culinary fundraiser combining two established Los Angeles events will take place April 11 at Rolling Greens in downtown Los Angeles to benefit No Kid Hungry’s efforts to end childhood hunger.
The event, called Night Out for No Kid Hungry, merges Taste of the Nation and the No Kid Hungry Dinner into a single evening featuring more than 50 chefs, restaurateurs and mixologists from across the country. Award-winning chefs Brooke Williamson, Mei Lin and Melissa King are co-chairs.
Guests can choose between The Tasting, a sampling-style event with bites and cocktails from chefs including Kevin Bludso, Ludo Lefebvre and restaurants such as Osteria Mozza and Kali, or The Dinner, a multi-course seated meal with pairings from chefs including Dominique Crenn and Michael Mina. The Dinner includes early access to The Tasting, a live auction and remarks on the No Kid Hungry campaign.
The evening concludes with an after-party hosted by Duff Goldman and Michael Voltaggio, featuring desserts from pastry chefs including Fatima Juarez of Komal, late-night bites and a live performance.
