Cotti Coffee, which launched in China in 2022, has grown explosively to more than 18,000 stores worldwide and operates in 33 countries. The chain is known for aggressive expansion, low prices and innovative drinks that include fruit-infused coffees, fruit teas and matcha beverages. It distinguishes itself through vertical integration, owning its own factories, supply chain and even a coffee plantation in Indonesia.

In Southern California, Cotti Coffee already operates locations in San Gabriel, Rowland Heights, Tustin and Irvine. It has also opened stores in Washington, D.C.

The Santa Monica openings reflect the company’s push into the U.S. market with what it describes as a “comfortable coffee lifestyle,” featuring innovative drinks, light meals and merchandise.
