West Hollywood bar Bar Next Door adds the Trocadero and Gardner Street drinks, paying tribute to classic Los Angeles landmarks and Hollywood’s golden era.
Bar Next Door on the Sunset Strip has added two new cocktails inspired by Los Angeles history to its menu.
The Trocadero features El Tesoro Blanco tequila, Combier Bleu, clarified tropical citrus and La Quintinye blanc, garnished with an edible micro flower. It is named after the legendary Trocadero nightclub, once a glamorous fixture on the Sunset Strip during Hollywood’s golden era. Bar Next Door is located at 9159 Sunset Blvd.
The Gardner Street is a bourbon-forward drink made with Maker’s Mark, Chamberyzette strawberry aperitif, mint, Cappelletti Amaro Sfumato Rabarbaro and Peychaud’s bitters, finished with a pansy garnish. It draws inspiration from Gardner Street, one of the remaining pockets in West Hollywood where old Hollywood charm overlaps with residential life.
Both drinks are part of a refreshed spirits and cocktail program at the bar, which opened in 2023.
