Those who want to enter a Military Service academy, applications are now open to the public. Details are below. All seniors who reside in California’s 33rd District are eligible to apply.
IMPORTANT DATES:
10/20/17 – Application Due
11/1/17 – Interview Notification
11/4/17 – Interview
– 3 letters of recommendation (at least 2 academic)
APPLICATION CONTENTS:
– Official high school transcript
– Official SAT or ACT scores (SAT school code: 7199 / ACT school code: 7272)
– One-page essay explaining why you wish to attend a Service Academy
– Resumé of extracurricular activities
– Current photo
– Completed application form
SCHOOLS:
– United States Naval Academy
– Unites States Air Force Academy
– United States Merchant Marine Academy
– United States Military Academy (West Point)
SUBMISSION:
Completed applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. in our Wilshire office no later than
