The OSM Woodwind Quintet will be premiering “Noir Vignettes”, a piece by local composer Peter Senchuk. Inspired by the classic Hollywood films from the film noir genre of the 1940-50s, Senchuk conveys his impressions of these works (with their detectives, complicated love interests and shady crime elements) through his unique jazz tinged compositional style. American and foreign music used in other movies and television will also be featured. Bring your friends and family and enjoy some great music!
