Leaps N Boundz Raises Money in Santa Monica: Foundation for Special Needs Kids Hosts Singles Mixer

Artist Heather Beitler displays her work for silent auction.

The Leaps N Boundz Foundation hosted their second annual “Fly Me to the Moon” fundraiser at the V Lounge in Santa Monica on Thursday night to raise money for kids with special needs such as autism, cerebral palsy and Down’s Syndrome.

This year, the foundation hosted a singles mixer, where people could meet and listen to music from Night On Fire and bid on auction items. Items included paintings from the children Leaps N Boundz helps, 7-day trips and paintings done by artists on-site.

The event raised $4,000 for the foundation.
