Sneaky Math For Teens & Youth Workshop At Santa Monica Library On Nov. 4:

Best-selling “Sneaky Uses for Everyday Things” author Cy Tymony brings his unique, fun, hands-on learning approach to all things math in “Sneaky Math: A Graphic Primer with Projects” to Santa Monica next Tuesday, Nov. 4.

He will demonstrate how to excel in math with fun hands-on projects using everyday things. His Sneaky Math program answers the question: “What can I do with math right now?” by plunging you into practical activities that you’ll want to do and share.

Tymony will demonstrate how to do Fractions, Algebra, Geometry and Calculus. Attendees will get to make several fun Math Gizmos they get to keep. A Q&A session will follow.

The event will be held Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 4 pm to 5:30 pm at the Santa Monica Public Library, 601 Santa Monica Blvd. Santa Monica.

It is free and open to the public (the program is aimed at children and teens).
