Musical maestro Mark Islam has been running this music/variety series in Culver City for some time. This event, coinciding with Pride Week in LA, and presented in conjunction with the Celebration Theatre, features singer-songwriter (and Gilmore Girls theme singer) Louise Goffin, songwriters Cliff Eberhardt, Christopher Dallman, and Tracy Newman and the Reinforcements, playwright Deborah Pearl, and “artists-in-residence” Tom and Byron, plus opening act Mark Francoeur. Voluntary donations will be accepted and will benefit the Celebration Theatre.

For the sixth year, Venice’s Carnevale returns, in homage to the other Venice’s carnival, but with local color and talent. Presented by the Venice Artists’ Forum in association with the Venice Chamber of Commerce, the show will include a costume contest, performances on two outdoor stages, vendors, Spirit Garden, DJs, and the music of local musical favorite Kathy Leonardo.
