Melanie Kareem’s We Are Baladi Dance Theater performed “Cry of the Heart,” a protest dance about the universal longing for peace and freedom at the “Bring Our Kids Home Now!” rally held by the Progressive Democrats of the Santa Monica Mountains Sunday at the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum in Topanga.
