As authorized by the City Council, the 18 trucks and equipment that are being loaned to Bayou La Batre, Alabama to be used by that small Gulf Coast city in its post-hurricane Katrina clean-up. rolled out of the Santa Monica City Yard on Friday, October 21.The trucks were expected to arrive in Bayou La Batre yesterday.
