Skip Shopping, Give Trees As Holiday Gifts:

Once again, TreePeople’s “Gift of Life” Tree Dedication program, gives holiday shoppers an opportunity to give presents that will last for generations and benefit the environment, and they don’t require wrapping or trips to the post office.

For each $25 donation, a tree will be planted in honor of someone on holiday gift lists, and a holiday card will be sent to the recipient. For a $100 contribution, TreePeople will plant a grove of five trees and send an inscribed certificate to the recipient. Certificates can be framed with a handsome recycled wood frame for an additional $30.

Thousands of trees are planted each year through TreePeople’s “Gift of Life” Tree Dedication program. With financial support from this program, TreePeople staff and volunteers work with several land management agencies to restore the mountains of Southern California.

One phone call handles all your shopping needs. To dedicate a tree, call (818) 753-TREE [8733].TreePeople’s mission is to inspire the people of Los Angeles to take personal responsibility for the urban forest – educating, training and supporting them as they plant and care for trees and improve their neighborhoods.
