SM Seafood Gives Holiday Gift to Red Cross:

The Santa Monica Seafood Company has donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Moved by the continuing needs of the Gulf Coast area residents, many of whom lost everything, the management, staff and shareholders of the longtime Santa Monica company chose to donate the money they usually earmark for holiday gifts and events to the Red Cross hurricane relief fund.

Michael Cigliano, Executive Vice President and co-owner of the company, said, “We felt that making this donation on behalf of our employees and customers was a way to demonstrate our deepest thanks to them through providing assistance to a cause we all care about and support.”Santa Monica Seafood is one of the west coast’s leading seafood distributors to restaurants, hotels and food service establishments.
