Edgemar Center for the Arts will present the Los Angeles premiere of the award-winning comedy Bright Ideas by Eric Coble. Directed by Neil Kinsella, the play stars Michelle Danner, Brian Drillinger, Ali Elk, Michelle Johnson and Kevin Small. Alexandra Guarnieri is the producer. A dark comedy, Bright Ideas is about the extraordinary lengths – including murder — to which a couple goes to get the best for their son, beginning with their efforts to enroll him in the very best preschool. Set and lighting design are by Tony Johnson. Jenny Byrd is stage manager. Costumes are by Anne-Marie Allen, sound and props by Josh Coleman. Performances begin Saturday, March 4, and run Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. until May 6.
