The American Red Cross of Santa Monica has announced its annual Free CPR Saturday will be held March 25.Both adult and child CPR classes will be offered. Classes are three hours long and will be held at 9am, 10am, 11am., 1pm and 2pm at the Ken Edwards Center, 1527 Fourth St. Limited free parking is available.Participants in the classes will learn how to recognize and provide the proper care for life threatening cardio or respiratory emergencies. Students will learn how to apply good CPR techniques and will acquire the skills, knowledge and confidence to be able to act in an emergency situation, possibly saving a life. Classes are open to anyone in good health who is over 15-years-old. Advance registration is strongly advised. Classes are free and limited to twenty persons. To register, or for more information, call the Santa Monica Red Cross at 310.394.3773 and mention “CPR Saturday.”
