The Jaguars lost to Highland Hall of Northridge, 7-5, then routed Delphi Academy of Lake View Terrace, 20-1.Brentwood had won its first four games but began its Olympic League schedule by losing to Valley Christian of Cerritos, 13-4 and 6-5.Malibu defeated Northview of Covina, 4-2, then lost to the same team, 13-2. The Sharks then had a 15-2 win over Oxnard and a 13-3 win over Nordhoff for a 5-4 overall record, including 2-1 in the Frontier League.Brooks Fitch is batting .632. Stephan Williams is batting .542 and leads the team in RBI’s with 10.GirlsIn softball, Santa Monica High won two games in the Downey Tournament, defeating Calvary Chapel 11-0 and Torrance 5-4. Hannah-Rose Peters won her sixth game and Alyson Herman her first as the Vikings’ record became 7-2. Brentwood earned a 7-2 win over Marshall of Pasadena in the Delphic League opener. Brentwood, which is 6-3 overall, also defeated Campbell Hall last week, 7-5 and lost to Whitney, 3-2.Malibu shut out Windward, 15-0 and is 7-2, all in non-league games.
