Julia Brownley Wins Key Endorsements:

In the hotly contested race for Fran Pavley’s 41st District State Assembly seat, Julia Brownley has picked up additional endorsements.

The California Democratic Party has formally endorsed Brownley. Says Brownley, “I am very proud to be the officially endorsed candidate of the California Democratic Party. It signifies strong grassroots support from the party’s rank-and-file activists who know my record as a leader for quality education, universal health care and environmental stewardship.”

Earlier, Brownley received over 70 percent of the votes cast from the Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades and Malibu Democratic Clubs. She also gained a vote of confidence from Santa Monicans for Renters’ Rights at their yearly convention.

With these new endorsements, Brownley appears to be the frontrunner in the race for the 41st District Assembly seat.
