Samohi Girls Continue To Win Soccer Matches:

The Santa Monica High girls’ soccer team, which has been having a successful season, began Ocean League play with a 2-0 win over Morningside on Wednesday, January 10.

Kirsten Kearsley and Julia Lieberman scored the goals.

The team has an 11-1-3 record.

In another girls’ soccer match, Crossroads lost to LA Baptist, 2-1, despite Paige Antin scoring her fourth goal of the season.

In boys’ soccer, Samohi defeated Morningside, 1-0 on a goal by Juan Magana in the Ocean League opener. The Vikings have a 7-5 record
