In a flash, Fashion Week has come and gone. Smashbox Studios in Culver City was the hub – featuring such renowned designers as Sue Wong, Kevan Hall, Ed Hardy, Collection Bebe and Grail during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week – while fashion shows and events were held all over town. The first US showing of Zsega was held at Santa Monica’s own Bergamot Station.
Streetwear and gowns alike sashayed down the runways, where crowds of fashionistas, stylists, celebrities and journalists ogled the latest offerings, making mental and physical notes of what might be the next big thing.
