Jasmine Margetts, who is 11, was Team Santa Monica’s outstanding performer with four wins in the recent 2008 Southern California Swimming Junior Olympics.
Team Santa Monica finished sixth, the best it has done since 2003.
Margetts won the girls 50 meter and 100 meter backstroke, 100 meter butterfly and 200 meter individual medley.
Other Team Santa Monica members who finished their events in the top three were Mattew Wu, Jonathon Lait, Liliana Casso, Robbie Shilton, Steven Turnbull, Andi Murez and Tessa Franke.
Of that group Wu, Casso and Murez had first places.
