For the first time in seven years a St. Monica football team will be seen more than once a season in Santa Monica.
St. Monica will play the first of three consecutive games at Corsair Field when it hosts Chadwick Friday night, October 3 at 7 p.m.
St. Monica’s other Corsair Field games will be against Villanova Prep on Saturday night, October 11 and Bellarmine-Jefferson on Friday night, October 17.
St. Monica played its home schedule at St. Bernard High in Playa del Rey until the addition of artificial turf at Corsair Field made it practical for SMC to rent the facility for additional play.
St. Monica has an 0-3 record following a 37-7 loss at Laguna Beach on September 26 and a 32-game losing streak over three seasons.The only St. Monica appearance in Santa Monica in recent years was a non-league game against Samohi.
