Santa Monica High hasn’t allowed a run in a remarkable nine consecutive games. The last two were against Culver City (14-0) and Inglewood (10-0).

Celisha Walker and Natalie Abel have continued the Vikings’ dominance on the mound. Samohi didn’t allow a run to an Ocean League opponent last season either.

Andrea Linares is hitting .538 but has played in only nine games. Meghan Bradley is hitting 422, Cynthia Perez-Ramirez .357 and Holly Elander .338. Two all-league players who got off to slow starts have boosted their averages. Emma Woo was 0-for-12 to begin the season but is now hitting .321. Kaile Nakao was 1-for-18 but is now at .268.

Overall, the Vikings’ record is 17-5.

St. Monica lost to La Salle, 10-0, bringing its overall record to 9-9. Danielle Cullen is batting .500, Haleigh Pellecer .359 and Kiana Dotson .345.

Crossroads lost to Campbell Hall, 16-1.
