Patty’s Pizza, a Westside pizzeria, has shut its doors and expands its online ordering services. The pizzeria will be relocating from its traditional retail store to solely an online delivery service called “Patty’s on the Run.”
Opened in 1988 and hailed for 22 years as one of the Westside’s favorite pizzerias, Patty’s Pizza was the first company to offer gourmet take and bake pizzas made with fresh, quality ingredients in Los Angeles.
As of February 25, the new services offer fresh-to-your-door delivery for orders placed at, www.pattyspizza.com, an improved and user-friendly online ordering system,. Patty’s management said the online shift will offer greater convenience and the same top-notch service and taste and pointed out that no sales tax or delivery charges will be levied on all take-and-bake orders, saving customers more than 10 percent on every order.
“We are thrilled that our expansion online will not only improve convenience for customers, but also allow us to increase our delivery area and add new products,” said Patty Phillips, owner and founder of Patty’s Pizza. “We have designed the site to make ordering as easy—and fun—as possible.”
As part of the new “Patty’s On The Run” online ordering service, the delivery area will expand to include Santa Monica (daily), Venice (daily), Marina del Rey (daily), Malibu (Saturdays), Pacific Palisades (Sundays & Wednesdays) and Beverly Hills (Thursdays) with no additional delivery fees and no sales tax.
Some of the new delivery items include Chicago-style deep dish pizza, pistachio flatbread and buffalo chicken pizza. And, for those outside of the delivery limits, the company encourages requests for delivery route expansion.
