DTLA Wine Bar to Host Candle-Making Workshop on Friday

Participants will create soy candles using repurposed wine bottles during a June 5 event at The Wine Station.

A candle-making workshop combining crafting and wine culture is scheduled for Friday evening at The Wine Station in downtown Los Angeles.

The event, titled “Wine & Wax,” will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the wine bar, located at 1201 S. Hope St.

Hosted by Wine Not Upcycle, the workshop will allow participants to create soy candles using repurposed wine bottles as candle vessels. Organizers said all materials needed for the candle-making activity will be provided.

According to event organizers, attendees will have access to discounted menu items and happy hour specials during the event. Wine and food will be available for purchase separately while participants wait for their candles to set.
