Despite 32 combined points from Jordan Matthews and Holden Foshag, Santa Monica High School Vikings basketball squad lost to Sacramento Sheldon in the second round of ‘The Tournament’ on Thursday by a score of 78-60.
It wasn’t a good night for Crossroads, either, as the Roadrunners lost for the first time this season, falling to Montclair Prep 58-59.
St. Monica, however, won their game game against Chadwick on Thursday, 71-58, behind 29 points (11 of 17 from the field) from guard Troy Whiteto, who also pulled down 7 rebounds.
Samohi Vikings play Windward in ‘The Tournament’ at 5 p.m. today.
