12th Malibu Film Festival Oct. 6-8 Announces Official Selections, Special Events:

The 12th Malibu Film Festival has announced its official film selections and special events to take place the weekend of Oct. 6-8.

The festival kicks off on the Thursday evening at Malibu Cinemas with its opening night films sponsored by Keely Brosnan, Pierce Brosnan, and Kym Gold.

The opening night films are “Miss South Pacific: Beauty and the Sea” directed by Mary Lambert (Pet Sematary 1 & 2) and “Kissing Strangers” directed by David Katz (Film and Television Producer, Malibu Film Festival Founder).

The opening night party immediately follows at Malibu Lumber Yard sponsored by Keely Brosnan, Pierce Brosnan, Kym Gold, Stella Artois, Clear Channel Outdoor, and SIR.

On Saturday, the festival continues at the Lumber Yard with daytime and evening film screenings.

Closing night is Saturday evening. The festival wraps up in style with film screenings and cocktails under the stars, awards presentations, and a closing night party at the Lumber Yard.
