Santa Monica Homeless Man Hits Girlfriend In Head With Brick: APB: A Wake-Up Call

On Saturday, Sept. 3, at 1:05 a.m. officers of the Santa Monica Police Department went to the area of Lincoln and Olympic Boulevard in order to investigate a report of a woman who was being assaulted.

When they arrived at the scene they spoke with the victim who told them that her boyfriend had hit her on the head with a brick.

The officers then noticed that the victim was bleeding from an open wound on the side of her head.

The woman continued to explain to the officers that she had been sleeping when her boyfriend had awakened her by hitting her on the head with a brick and yelling profanities at her.

The officers went in search of this man and located him a short distance away on the freeway embankment.

This 43-year-old homeless man was charged with assault with a deadly weapon (the brick), and spousal abuse.

His bail was set at $50,000.
