Santa Monica Weekend Forecast Sept. 16-18:

A cool weekend is forecast for Santa Monica with early morning and late night patchy fog, according to the National Weather Service.

The rest of Friday afternoon will be sunny with a high near 68, with southwest winds blowing between five and 10 miles per hour.

Tonight, there will be increasing cloud, and patch fog after 11 p.m. with a low of about 59. The southwest winds from the afternoon will begin to calm.

Expect patchy fog before 11 a.m. on Saturday morning. Clouds will gradually clear with a high near 68 in the afternoon. Again, there will be southwest winds between five and 10 miles per hour during the day.

Saturday night will see more patchy fog after 11 p.m. with increasing cloud and a low of around 60, with winds calming.

To round out the weekend, there will be patchy fog before 11 a.m. on Sunday. Otherwise, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 73. There will be a calm wind becoming west southwest between five and 10 miles per hour throughout the day. Sunday night there will be more patchy fog after 11 p.m. with a low of around 62.
