The Santa Monica Convention & Visitors Bureau are encouraging residents to sign-up to volunteer as “Welcome Ambassadors” for the Wisconsin and Oregon Rose Bowl Pep-rallies later this month.
The Wisconsin and Oregon Rose Bowl Pep-rallies will be held on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
Welcome Ambassador are needed from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both of these days.
Volunteers will be holding signs, passing out maps, cheering on teams, and thanking the attendees for coming to Santa Monica.
Each volunteer will receive a T-shirt or sweatshirt, and a chance to win exciting prizes.
Prizes include Cirque de Soleil’s Ovo tickets, Ipod Nano’s, and more. Anyone who sign up a friend will receive an additional raffle ticket for a better chance to win.
