Santa Monica Man, 40, Charged For Scratching His Wife’s Face: APB: Cat Scratch Fever.

On Friday, Dec. 9, at 8:29 p.m. officers of the Santa Monica Police Department went to the 600 block of Broadway in response to a report of an assault.

When the officers arrived they spoke with a man and a woman (the man being the suspect and the woman being the victim). It transpired that these two individuals were married and living together in apparent disharmony.

The officers discovered this married couple had been arguing, and that the husband had, during the course of the “discussion,” scratched his wife’s face.

The officers arrested the husband, aged 40 and residing in Santa Monica, and he was charged with domestic violence. His bail was set at $50,000.
