Santa Monica Public Library and the Santa Monica Office of Sustainability and the Environment present the Green Garden Academy School of Sustainable Gardening on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This month’s class is Plant Palette: Mediterranean Plants. Taught by Russell Ackerman, students will learn how to choose sustainable, climate-appropriate plants from the Mediterranean plant palette that offer a variety of colors, textures, and fragrances.
