Tickets Available To Sunday’s Miss Santa Monica USA Pageant:

Miss Santa Monica USA Pageant will be held this Sunday, May 27 at the Sheraton Delfina Hotel in Santa Monica and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Monica’s Smart Girls Program.

Kristen Bradford, a local business owner that recently opened the Crown Diva Boutique and Pageant Academy on Lincoln Boulevard and also founded Miss Malibu USA in 2005, is excited to announce the first annual Miss Santa Monica USA.

“This is a fun activity for everyone in the community that highlights our beautiful, intelligent and motivated young women”, Bradford said.

Recent contestant of NBC’s “The Voice,” Erick Macek, will entertain the audience and the band Pullman Standard is sure to bring the house down.

The hosts for this exciting and elegant event include Emma Baker, Miss California Teen USA 2010, and Tami Farrell, Miss California USA 2009, Miss Malibu 2009 and Miss Teen USA 2003.

There are two age groups, Teen (14-18 yrs) and Miss (19-26 yrs) and three categories of competition, Swimsuit, Evening Gown, and Interview.

Public speaking is a huge component of the event, as the winner will be making appearances representing the city of Santa Monica throughout the year.

The winners will go on to compete at the Miss California USA and Miss California Teen USA pageants in the fall.

State winners proceed to Miss USA and possibly even Miss Universe. Donald Trump and NBC own the Miss Universe Organization.

Bradford has pulled together an impressive panel of judges for her Miss Malibu Pageant in the past, with the esteemed judges panel made up of influential members of the local community, individuals well connected in the entertainment industry and celebrities. Past celebrity judges at Miss Malibu include Ludacris (Actor, Rapper), Khloe Kardashian, Aubrey O’Day, Brandi Glanville (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Galen Gerring (Dirty Soap, Days of Our Lives), Isaiah Mustafa (Old Spice Guy), and Michael Yo (E! The judges for the 1st Annual Miss Santa Monica Pageant include: Paula Reddit (Retail Operations Manager, Eva Varro), Daniel J. Casper, M.D. (Board Certified Plastic Surgeon), Jane Fort (Editor-in-Chief, Teen PROM Magazine), Laurel Rosen (President/CEO, Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce), Nicole Johnson (Miss California USA 2010), Peter Pheng Young (Owner, INTA Gems and Diamonds), Ray Bustamante (Director of Sales and Marketing, Sheraton Delfina Hotel), Stephanie Vitorino (Equinox Group Fitness Manager of the Year), Tiffany Bressnan Corbett (CEO/Owner, Girl Extraordinaire), and TJ Montemer (Publisher of the Santa Monica Mirror).

The prize package includes full entry fee paid to the Miss California USA or Miss California Teen USA pageant.

In addition, there are many other fabulous prizes and opportunities for the winner as well as all of the other participants. The prize package is worth over $15,000 in goods and services.
