Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier has launched PacPark Live! — three new, live streaming, high-definition cameras of what’s happening in the Park, on the Wheel, and at the Pier.
The streams can be viewed at at bit.ly/pacparklivecams or on Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier’s homepage at www.pacpark.com and click the “View Our Live Web Cams” tab.
“We encourage everyone to take a look at these three unique cameras with their amazing views that are now live on Pacific Park’s website,” said Jeff Klocke, Vice President of Marketing and Administration at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier. “In addition to entertaining the more that 6.5 million visitors annually to the Pier, we now look forward to hosting thousands of unique visitors to the website to view the live webcams.”
Website guests simply need to select which camera they would like to watch and immediately begin enjoying live shots of their favorite beachside locations featuring these panoramic views:
– Watch the Park shows sweeping 360-degree views of the two-acre, oceanfront amusement park, north and south wave-breaking beaches, the beautiful Santa Monica skyline and unparalleled seascape shots from Malibu to the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
– See the Wheel presents a stationary shot of the Pacific Wheel, the world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel, along with the periodic passing of the West Coaster roller coaster in the foreground. These signature rides are highlighted with a stunning backdrop of beautiful sandy beaches and white-capped waves. Guests will also enjoy the Ferris wheel’s 160,000 energy-efficient LED lights that present dynamic, custom, computer-generated lighting entertainment each evening.
– View the Pier provides a bird’s-eye view of the exciting activities toward the west end of the Pier associated with the Santa Monica “Pier Renewal Project.” While a portion of the Santa Monica Pier is under construction, Pacific Park is in full operation with its 12 amusement park rides, 17 midway games and over the ocean food plaza.
