A man who is recovering from a shotgun wound to his shoulder in Malibu Friday night is not cooperating with Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department deputies.
Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station Lieutenant Robert Wiard said a motorist was flagged down by a male adult pedestrian in the 4400 block of Encinal Canyon, Malibu just before midnight on Friday.
“The man told the motorist he had been shot with a shotgun,” Wiard said. “The motorist summoned emergency personnel. The victim was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder.”
Wiard said the victim was uncooperative with deputy personnel, and the suspect(s) are outstanding at this time.
