Teen actor Jake T. Austin has teamed up with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Staples for the 6th annual Staples for Students national school supply drive, which will help kids and teens at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica get the tools they need to build great futures.
Aaron Young, President and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica, said the organization was extremely grateful for the campaign since many of the young people it serves need help getting school supplies during this time of year.
“We believe there is no investment more important than our nation’s youth, especially when it comes to ensuring their academic success, which is so essential to the prosperity of our community,” Young said.
From June 30 to September 28, Staples customers can donate $1 or more at their local Staples store with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting local students at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
The Staples for Students school supply drive supports this mission by helping young people return to school prepared to learn and succeed.
The local Staples stores to make a donation are located at:
