dineLA Restaurant Week To Feature 45 Santa Monica Eateries Starting Jan. 20:

For anyone who made a diet-themed New Year’s resolution on Jan. 1, the dineLA Restaurant Week later this month could potentially force you to take a break from your well-intentioned plans.

More than 300 restaurants across Southern California are participating in the foodie-favorite event launching Jan. 20. Those participating in dineLA Restaurant Week, which runs through Jan. 31, will be able to visit some of the region’s most popular and acclaimed restaurants and dine there by purchasing specially priced lunch or dinner options.

Locally, 45 Santa Monica eateries are participating in dineLA Restaurant Week, with dozens of additional options in neighboring communities such as Brentwood, Culver City, Venice, and Westwood.

Organizers announced last week several restaurants are already accepting reservations for the 11-day dining event. In making reservations through the dineLA Restaurant Week website, diners may select from $15, $20, or $25 lunch menus and $25, $35, or $45 dinner menus.

Also available for the first time ever: an $85 experimental tasting menu. The pilot program offers multi-course tastings at select restaurants.

Diners who sign up for the dineLA newsletter are automatically entered to win a restaurant gift certificate each week for an entire year; the 52 gift certificate prize package is valued at $2,600.

In all, the 12-day event, which is presented by the L.A. Tourism and Convention Board in partnership with American Express, highlights premier dining destinations across Southern California and highlights the diverse culinary experiences offered in the Los Angeles region.

More information about reservations and the event can be found at www.discoverlosangeles.com/dineLA.
