Pacific Coast Highway Emergency Shoreline Work Continues Through Friday:

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is continuing to repair damaged shoreline protection (rip rap or large boulders) along the Pacific Coast Highway near Mugu Rock after high surf undermined portions of the highway over the weekend.

Caltrans said there was no damage to PCH, but this emergency project will help to enhance the safety and integrity of the roadway.

Repair work is continuing daily through Friday, March 7 from 7 am to 3 pm each day.

Motorists should expect three to five minute delays, as flaggers will be in place during work hours.
