Red Tie Affair Gala In Santa Monica To Honor Carson Daly & “The Voice” Tonight:

The American Red Cross’s exclusive Red Tie Affair returns tonight, May 3 to honor the humanitarian spirit of extraordinary individuals as well as the long tradition of honoring highly acclaimed television shows that provide outstanding support of the American Red Cross.

Local military, government, corporate, and community leaders will join together for an inspirational evening that supports the programs of the American Red Cross.

Funds raised at the event allows the American Red Cross to fulfill its mission – to alleviate human suffering throughout the world, the nation and right here at home in the Greater Los Angeles area.

The 8th Annual Red Tie Affair will be held at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica.

Dress is “Red Tie” – a formal event with an emphasis on wearing red.

Pre-event activities on the red carpet begin at 5 pm and the Ballroom doors will open for dinner at 6:30 pm. A plethora of deals – and some once in a lifetime items – can be found at the event’s silent auction.

During dinner, attendees will have the opportunity to bid for some amazing, exclusive live auction items.

The Crystal Cross Award for Outstanding Support of the American Red Cross will be presented to Carson Daly, and the coaches and executive producers of NBC’s Emmy award winning show, “The Voice.”

The Rick Crocker Spirit of Volunteerism Award will be presented to the UCLA People Animal Connection Program.

The Spirit of Humanitarianism Award will be presented to Captain “Sully” Sullenberger.

Dinner will be designed by celebrity chef Nick Stellino.

Fox 11 News anchor Christine Devine will emcee the evening’s festivities.
