Big Blue Bus To Run On Sunday Schedule For Thanksgiving:

Government offices, courts, schools, libraries, banks and post offices will be closed today in observance of Thanksgiving.

Metro buses, trains and subways will be on a Sunday schedule. Specific schedules for bus lines can be found at www.metro.net. Normal operations will resume Friday.

The Los Angeles Turkey Trot will take place in Downtown Los Angeles with Big Blue Bus Rapid 10 on detour from 6 am until approximately 1 pm today.

To Union Station

Regular route to Temple St. at Grand Ave., then buses will detour and turn left on Grand Ave., right on Cesar Chavez Ave., left on Main St., and resume regular route.

The following bus stops will be missed:

— Temple St. at Hill St. and Spring St.

— Los Angeles St. at Temple St.

— Alameda St. at Los Angeles St.

— Use alternate stops located on Hope St. at Temple St. or Main St. at Alameda St. To Santa Monica

Regular route to Alameda St. at Cesar Chavez Ave., then buses will detour and turn right on Cesar Chavez Ave., left on Grand Ave., right on Temple St., and resume regular route.

The following bus stops will be missed:

— Alameda St. at Los Angeles St.

— Los Angeles St. at Aliso St. and Temple St.

— Temple St. at Spring St. and Hill St.

— Use alternate stops located on Main St. at Alameda St. or Hill St. at 1st St.

Thanksgiving Holiday Service 11/27-29

All BBB routes: Operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

Routes 1, 2, 3, 8 & 12: UCLA’s Hilgard Terminal will be closed; all trips will use UCLA’s Charles E. Young/P2 Hub instead.

The Transit Store & Customer Service: Closed

Friday After Thanksgiving 11/28

Route 6: Will not be in service.

All other BBB routes: Operate on a regular weekday schedule.

Routes 1, 2, 3, 8, 11 & 12: UCLA’s Hilgard Terminal will be closed; all trips will use UCLA’s Charles E. Young/P2 Hub instead.

The Transit Store & Customer Service: Closed

Saturday After Thanksgiving 11/29

All BBB routes: Resume regular Saturday schedule.

Customer Service: Closed

The Transit Store & Customer Service will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, Dec. 1.
