Government offices, courts, schools, libraries, banks and post offices will be closed today in observance of Thanksgiving.
Metro buses, trains and subways will be on a Sunday schedule. Specific schedules for bus lines can be found at www.metro.net. Normal operations will resume Friday.
The Los Angeles Turkey Trot will take place in Downtown Los Angeles with Big Blue Bus Rapid 10 on detour from 6 am until approximately 1 pm today.
To Union Station
Regular route to Temple St. at Grand Ave., then buses will detour and turn left on Grand Ave., right on Cesar Chavez Ave., left on Main St., and resume regular route.
The following bus stops will be missed:
— Temple St. at Hill St. and Spring St.
— Los Angeles St. at Temple St.
— Alameda St. at Los Angeles St.
— Use alternate stops located on Hope St. at Temple St. or Main St. at Alameda St. To Santa Monica
Regular route to Alameda St. at Cesar Chavez Ave., then buses will detour and turn right on Cesar Chavez Ave., left on Grand Ave., right on Temple St., and resume regular route.
