One man was shot and killed and another one was wounded during a shooting outside a popular nightclub in Inglewood today.
The shooting occurred outside the Savoy Entertainment Center nightclub on the 200 block of South La Brea Avenue at 2 a.m., Los Angeles County Fire Department Battalion Chief Michael Pittman said.
Paramedics rushed one of the shooting victims to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:27 a.m., said Coroner’s Lt. David Smith.
One of the victims was a club security guard, a videographer at the scene said.
No information was available about the condition of the other shooting victim. A watch commander with the Inglewood Police Department could not be reached for comment.
