Where To Watch July 4 Fireworks On The Westside:

While the City of Santa Monica does not have a fireworks display on the 4th of July, there are many professional fireworks displays and events planned in and around the surrounding area.

Below are three nearby celebrations you may wish to attend on the 4th of July:

Pacific Palisades

The 8th Annual Palisades Rocks the Fourth will be held at Pacific Palisades Charter High School on July 4.

This concert and fireworks show is slated to be the bigger and better than ever. Featuring a wide range of the finest local amateur and professional entertainment, the lineup includes the Westside Troubadours featuring Tom Freund, Adam Topol, and Friends. Later in the evening, the Pali High Concert Band and Palisades All-Stars will perform. The concert will be capped in breathtaking fashion by the famous Pacific Palisades fireworks pageant, presented by Pyro Spectaculars. Gourmet food trucks will be on site, from Baby’s Badass Burgers, Dogtown Dogs, Cool Haus, India Jones Chow Truck and more. Gates open at 5 pm and fireworks go on at 9 pm. For more information, visit palisadesparade.org/Fireworks.php.

Marina del Rey

Celebrate in the marina with a 20-minute pyrotechnic fireworks display presented by the famed Zambelli Fireworks Internationale. At 9 pm explosives are shot from a barge across the marina’s main channel, mirrored by the harbor below. Spectators may watch the display and listen to synchronized music on KXLU 88.9FM, also playing over loudspeaker throughout Burton Chace Park, 13650 Mindanao Way. Culver City

The 2015 Culver City Fireworks Show will be held on the grounds of West LA College, 9000 Overland Avenue. Gates open at 4 pm. In addition to fireworks, there will be live music, food trucks, contests and more. Carpooling to the event is strongly encouraged. There is a suggested donation of $5 at the door in addition to parking fees. All proceeds from the show are returned to the community in the form of grants and scholarships to local organizations and deserving students.
