An all-star cast of policy makers will band together with the Santa Monica Democratic Club for “Back to School with the Santa Monica Democratic Club,” a conversation about education, Wednesday, Sept. 30, 7 pm, at the Martin Luther King Auditorium in the Santa Monica Public Library.
The conversation is designed to help shape policy and budgets in education from cradle to grave and will feature Senator Ben Allen (D – Santa Monica), Santa Monica College Board of Trustees Member Louise Jaffe, and Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board Member Richard Tahvildaran Jesswein.
A Q-and-A will follow the panel discussion. Parking will be available at the free event, along with light refreshments.
