The Giving Spirit Volunteers Converge On Santa Monica To Provide Aid To Homeless:

From Dec. 10-13

More than 1,000 volunteers from The Giving Spirit served 2,600 homeless lives with survival aid in Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Downtown Los Angeles, the Valley, and other Westside communities from Dec. 10-13.

Each homeless person received a survival kit containing over 60 essentials to help prepare for El Niño and the winter months ahead.

TGS volunteers also take time to connect with the homeless they meet and let them know they are not forgotten during this holiday season. Pictured above is TGS volunteer Stephanie Schindel with a new homeless friend John.
