A Sensasional Evening at the Beach:

A Sensational Evening on the Beach.

One of the Westside’s hottest social events of the year, the 7th annual Evening on the Beach, was held last Thursday, with Los Angeles’ best chefs, sommeliers and cocktail craftsmen joining together to raise $250,000 for St. Vincent Meals on Wheels of Los Angeles.

Santa Monica’s Jonathan Beach Club came alive with color as a capacity 650 guests wined and dined in the sand on a perfect summer’s eve.

Live music saw attendees dance the night away as the sun set behind a white-tent-topped array of individual chef’s stations that surrounded the entertainment space.

Notable dishes of the evening came from Angelini Osteria – Porchetta, Farro Con Pecorino, Piselli, Fava e Rucola, Craft’s Grilled Diver Scallops with Romanesco and Sweet Corn, CUT’s Grilled Prime New York Steak with Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, Avocado Wasabi, and Black Garlic, Kali’s Pickled Mussels with Black Garlic Vinegar, and The Jonathan Club’s Duo of Beef – Braised Short Ribs and Stockyard New York Steaks. DiStefano Cheeses – Hand Stretched Burrata with Rosemary Flatbread and Whipped Lemon Infused Mascarpone with Savory Crackers, were to die for.

The event’s principal sponsor was Audi, with Douglas Elliman Real Estate Co. among others. For more information head to eveningonthebeach.com. Instagram @chefsonthebeach.
