Senior with Dementia Goes Missing in Santa Monica

He Was Last Seen Near Santa Monica UCLA Hospital on May 15

The Santa Monica Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in locating Ricky Wayne Anderson, a missing 75-year-old man.

Anderson is described as a Black male, 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds. He was last seen near Santa Monica UCLA Hospital on May 15, 2024. At the time, he was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and sweatpants.

Authorities are particularly concerned for Anderson’s safety as he suffers from dementia and requires daily medication.

Anyone with information regarding Anderson’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Santa Monica Police Department’s Watch Commander, available 24 hours, at (310) 458-2249.
